Pictet Asset Management launches diversified multi-asset fund for Swiss investors
Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM) announces that it will be launching a diversified multi-asset fund for Swiss investors on 31 October.
The Pictet CH Target-LPP Multi Asset Flexible fund will offer Swiss investors a diversified strategy including traditional asset classes (stocks and bonds) as well as real estate and alternative investments. The fund managers seek to add value by actively allocating capital to different asset classes, drawing on the investment expertise of Pictet AM and its experience of investing for Swiss institutional clients.
The fund aims to achieve stable performances in all market conditions, with particular attention placed on managing volatility. The fund was set up to meet the needs of cautious investors who do not want to be limited to traditional asset classes.
The fund will be managed by three multi-asset specialists: Eric Rosset, Steve Donzé and Anastassios Frangulidis, who together have an average of 20 years’ experience in the industry. The fund managers also enjoy the support and expertise of an international multi-asset team of 17 people.
According to Olivier Ginguené, Head of Multi-Asset and Quantitative Investment, “the current market environment is particularly complex, with extremely low bond yields and equity markets already looking overvalued. These conditions favour an active and more dynamic management in the long term. We have been developing our strategies for Swiss investors since the mid-1980s, when we launched the range of LPP index funds [1]. We continue to do so today with our new LPP Multi Asset Flexible fund, which is designed for Swiss investors wishing to achieve absolute returns regardless of market conditions.”
