Future of Work
This episode focuses on the future of work – both in terms of the changes wrought by the ongoing pandemic and the likely effects of automation on the 21st century workforce.

Sinead Bovell is a Futurist and the Founder and CEO of WAYE, an organization that prepares youth for a future with advanced technologies. To date, Bovell has educated over 10k young entrepreneurs on the intersection of technology and the future, and has spoken at world renowned institutions such as the United Nations, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Bloomberg, and Cornell University on the future of technology. Bovell has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Chemistry, and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Anjali Bastianpillai joined Pictet Asset Management in 2016 and is a Senior Product Specialist in the bank’s Thematic Equities team, responsible for Robotics, Securities and Digital strategies. Prior to taking her current role in 2018, she was a Senior Client Portfolio Manager for the Total Return Fixed Income team, focusing on Credit Long/Short and EM Debt Long/Short strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
Dr Daniel Susskind explores the impact of technology, particularly artificial intelligence, on work and society. He is a Fellow in Economics at Balliol College, Oxford University, where he teaches and researches. He is the co-author of the best-selling book, The Future of the Professions, and the author of A World Without Work (January 2020), described by The New York Times as "required reading for any potential presidential candidate thinking about the economy of the future”. His TED Talk, on the future of work, has been viewed more than 1.5 million times.
Rosario Lebrija Rassvetaieff is Group New Media and Sponsoring Manager at the Pictet Group, where she hosts and produces the podcasts ‘Found in Conversation’ and ‘Prix Pictet: A lens on sustainability’. Born and raised in Mexico City, she holds a combined honours BA in Literature and International Relations (First Class) from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Communication and Media Studies (Distinction) from the London School of Economics.
