As we informed you in a recent written communication, the European Union directive on shareholder rights, known as “SRDII”, came into force on 3 September 2020. Its purpose is to strengthen your rights as a shareholder in companies which have their registered office in the European Union and whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market situated or operating within a Member State. In particular, it requires companies to provide shareholders, on request, with all the information relating to the events (“security events”) announced in connection with the securities subject to the directive that are held in the shareholders’ portfolios. Against this backdrop, Pictet Asset Services has decided to give all its clients complete access to security events in Pictet Connect, without the need to submit a request. This access concerns all the securities held in the portfolio, whether or not they are subject to SRDII.

The new “Security events” module may be accessed directly from the Pictet Connect homepage.

On the homepage, you will see only the voluntary events awaiting an answer. To view all the security events (mandatory, voluntary or prenotifications of events), simply click on the “Security events” banner and choose the desired options on the page that appears:
