Fund distribution in Germany: Germany is the seconde largest market in Europe in terms of ownership of Financial Assets with EUR 16 billion. Insures and pensions funds are the largest investors, They invest on average 52% of their assets in investement funds. At the end of 2020, there were 2'329 German UCITS, and more than 11'179 Forreign funds registered for sales. 574 Billion EUR are invested into foreign domicilied funds, wich represent 25% of the total German market.
