About Alex Ng
Before joining Pictet in 2019, Alex was Market Head for China at Credit Suisse Hong Kong and, in his most recent position, Alternate Chief Executive of Credit Suisse Hong Kong Branch. He has 30 years’ experience in wealth management in the Greater China markets, initially with Citibank, where he started in the investment unit, then moved to cover Thailand and then Taiwan markets. In 2005 he transferred to UBS, where he developed the bank’s China franchise in Asia. He then moved to Credit Suisse in 2008. In 2014 and 2015 he served as one of the Directors of the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association.
Alex completed the Advanced Executive Programme at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University of Otago. He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
